3. Then copy thelink
4. Paste the link and click on the youtube bb code

Unfortunately it seems that youtube just changed it's look and the regular share button with "long link" box no longer excist.

I know! What are the odds? It is still possible to embed it using the BBcode. I will have to get some screen shots, but quickly, this is what you do:

1. Click the "Share" link under the video
2. Copy the short link that is given. Will look like this: http://youtu.be/IBfrHYSal34" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
3. Copy the short link and paste it in the forum.
4. Delete this part: http://youtu.be/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
5. Replace that with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
6. Now your link will look like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBfrHYSal34" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
7. Then highlight all that and add click the "youtube" bbcode.

OK, yes, I fixed it, you had:

You need to take the "G5ynEhALbuc" part off the end and stick it on:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The link can't have "feature=player_embedded&" in it.

Well, it would be easier to understand, I have to raise the BOLD text and then highlight the text and click the "youtube" bbcode.

I only copy the text of the site. No shareing or anything alse. Obviously works.

Yes, I suppose there is probably an updated BBCODE for youtube, but they will probably change the links as soon as I update again!

This works everywhere else, ie: Facebook. Lets see if it works here.

It takes awhile to download, but seems to work just fine. I don't know anything about "Embedding", because you have to have your own web page for that.

Does this help at what you need to do? Just hit 'share', or the thumbs up or down icons, and that YouTube address along with all the different "Share Icons", like
Facebook and Twitter, etc. I only use those to actually post a video to FB. I guess you call it a bbcode , don't know.
I'm just "Copy & Pasting", but if it works, great! This YouTube Help, "Getting started" videos are very helpful to create your own channel, if you want to.
