lobivia flowers are stunning without exception, I really love the look of your thelocephalas too!

yes this clumping type of E. esmeraldana does have an unusual flower and it seems to be reproducble in other plants of this proveniance too.

My other flowering esmeraldana looks quite different from that one. (pics from last year)

you would hardly expect those esmeraldanas to be the same species
that nigristomata looks breathtaking!

Hi Ralf it´s nice to hear that the Pterocactus cuttings are growing well. Some kuntzei /tuberosus will start to flower quite early.
