A double contest? I'm going to have to have a long long look through my photo album ....

Meanwhile here's some to keep your eyes busy.

Hello, I sorry to have posted two of the anouncements. Darryl took care of one already.- Thanks Darryll.
@arjen: I would guess any smaller growing succulent with kind of spherical outline will be ok.

Unfortunately I only have one Lithops (it's the only one I haven't killed yet) and it's not all that photogenic at the moment. Oh well, I can still enjoy all the other pictures!
Nothing smells as sweet as a frangipani flower...

Well, I think I can actually come up with a picture that I took at a nursery, but I sure don't have my own plants. I swiftly killed the only two Lithops I ever had.

Ian, it's true. But to be clear, I haven't read your posts here regarding Lithops growing care and just treated them like cacti! So if I get more, I will be studying the cultivation posts.

I've entered the competition. No flowers, no spectacular 100-year-old plants, but a picture that says everything that I find fascinating about Lithops.

The day before my competition photo was taken, I saw a Lithops move. The dry sheath cracked open before my eyes and this is the photo I took a minute or two later. Interesting to see how much the plant expanded in 24 hours.

On a completely different note, I have some Conophytums too.

What is that, a yellow flower on a plant that looks like L. karasmontana? Is it L. bromfieldii?
