Chimera questions

What exactly are these? Is there a way to force this to happen? I guess the ones I've looked at were mostly gymnos on mytrillo.(?) With the mytrillo stock growing an arm that sprouts gymnos. Crazyness. Real whackadoo plants I want one. I hope this is in the right place.

It is rare but you may able to see a Chimera if you did a lot of grafting. I got one Chimera plant, Astrophytum asterias/Hyrocereus.
