Was the mistake not taking out ALL of the grass?

Besides that, it looks perfect to me!

Awesome plants as usual!

I might not have been paying attention if you've mentioned this in the past, but what part of Germany do you live in?

You truly have the touch for growing fine plants!

Very nice Ralf, all those Escobarias are fantastic, are you keeping these plants out in winter withouth heating?

Ralf, I agree with Tim. I was thinking that you were stupid for not getting rid of all the grass and making a huge planter for more cacti! :)

Nice job, it looks awesome!
I am curious too if you will leave them all outside with no heat.

Thanks folks!
The larger Plants like Echinocereus baileyi and several Opuntia was on my old flowerbed for many years. I gave them only a rain protection roof during the winter months. The plants who are new in this bed were in a unheated cold frame in the last years. So I had a good selection and preperation for cold temps in winter.
This bed will get also a rain protection roof in winter. I'm guess many of it will this survive.
