I whant to do time laps but i don't know when to start. Can anyone say will open? (i think that i will do it today night, becaus i dont whant to miss it. I will be awake today night :coffee: and will drink coffe :D)

you might have to wait a few days for that one :? it will flower during the day.....not at night.

I decide to go to sleep and today when i pic it and what other pic then its really growed in night. You know, in this year only that cactus flowers/flowered :cry: in my ''collection''(20-30 cactus :lol: ) .

be patient. sometimes they aren't old enough and it takes a few years for them to be at flowering age.

I remember that david did some time-laps, can anyone say where did he post it, what cactus was it?

I cant believe that i mist it, when the flower opend, whene i went to watch the flower it were almost closed :(

If you're talking about mine, then that one Hob posted is one of them. I didn't do well on the E. hookeri because it opened so fast. The time between the second and third frame is only a matter of seconds. It opened so fast, I should have had a real-time video of it instead of time-lapse.

Daiv,
that was after a few seconds? :shock: I have never watched a flower open, but that seems quick. I figured they were sorta slow in opening because sometimes they aren't open all the way and it takes awhile for them to open up fully. Course I suppose it could depend on the species as well!
