Orange County Cactus Society Show and Sale, Dec 4-6, 2009

Post by C And D »

The Orange County Cactus and Succulent Society is having their winter show and sale this weekend

If you live nearby, you must pay a visit

It is located at the UC Fullerton Arboretum
10-4, and free

Me and Denise will be selling plants, look for GNG, and we will have about 30 plants in the show

Other sellers of note
Corona Cactus, Buck Hemingway, Woody, and a bunch more
and potters

I will post updates

Daiv, can we switch this to the club topic forum next week, after the show, thanks

I took the boy over yesterday to feed the ducks and have a stroll, it looks like they are preping a few new beds over near the desert section. I hope they will be puttin in more prickleys.

I think that I would not enter a contest against you! Except if you had to use only plastic pots - then I might be able to give you a little competition!

Not to hijack Craig's thread but only to comment on the quality of the show. If you missed it, you missed a really nice presentation of show plants and a huge sale.

A lot of effort goes into this show, a compliment to the members of OCCSS and the show committee headed by Vince Basta. Job well done all!

Images are up on Tim Nomer's earthpix site. There are over 1000 images !!! The trophy winners are covered from many views in images 7159-7279. The balance cover almost all show plants, sales area shots, and general views of the show setting in the Fullerton Arboretum.

Have a look everyone!

Cheers ... GeneS

Make your plans now Byron. Here's a pretty good list of coming events for 2010, at the bottom of the page. http://www.sgvcss.com/
