All jokes and BS aside, sweet stuff man, youve got quite an eye for plant placement
I wouldn't want to roll around in there your liable to get bit!!
Yes it is remarkably "flowery" at the moment. I take it summer hasn't quite hit yet?
No summer hasn't quite hit yet but we will get some heat this weekend. The early spring wild flowers have been in bloom for several weeks now and the summer flowers are getting ready to explode.
Very nice garden.I would love to have yard like yours.
Good stuff John! I have details and will be in Minden for three days comming up. I'll send a PM and we'll figure out when I can get that front row seat!
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
Tony those are Penstemon speciosus. They are native to the Sierra Nevada Range. That particular plant is one of my all time favorites. It is a high elevation form of the species and always puts up densely packed flower spikes. This species of Penstemon dos extremely well in dry summer sights. Seed can be had for the asking this fall.

Do not forget your camera! We have certain expections of you, Daiv (in my best Moses voice), when you visit Johns garden.
