I have to go with M. bocasana simply because it is easy to grow and easy to find including unlabeled in box stores, while M. guelzowiana is difficult and not common especially without a label. The bodies look very similar, but maybe the roots are different? I don't have any shots to compare the roots.

I agree with that - M. bocasana is much more common. Mine also had big tuberous roots like that too.

Thanks a lots for help with ID
I guess M. bocasana is more likely as it came from our HD, I just thought may be one can tell for sure if roots are different
Too bad, M. guelzowiana has very cool flowers!

It bloomed!
M. bocasana roseiflora.
I like this plant so much, I got myself another form too: M. bocasana multilanata
Both plants about 1.5in in size. It is amazing that they bloom so small.

May be I should get M. guelzowiana too (for completeness
)
How hard are they? I know they rot more easily compared to bocasana.
I think I am in love

I bought this last year. The label was Krainzia guelzowiana, it is now included in Mammillaria. I didn't notice much growth above soil level. But I couldn't believe how the much the root grew, from half a centimeter wide to about 4cm wide in just one year. I'm glad I decided to repot it.
