A first time flower for this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the flower's beautiful shade of orange.

I like that one CP.

The Illustrated Handbook of Succulents calls it S. jacobsenii from Rowley.

Yeah Chris, the plant is in a hanging pot, while the stems are quite pendulant, the flowers grow upright...

Here's a shot of the whole plant, dead leaves intact from when it got burned one extra hot day!.

Thanks CP,
I see that plant for sell around here, but its always label "hanging jade plant" Crassula sp. and now after seeing the flowers know its true identity.

One of my fav senecios. It tends to burn up here without a little afternoon shade.

Yeah it wasn't doing too bad, but I was away for a while, and we had a few days where the temps soared to around fourty outside the g/h, and this one started to cook... glad I got to it when I did. It now has a shadier spot. It's a learning curve. :roll:
