Plumosa is still going. Kind of neat looking how a hole is left in the feathers when the flower pulls back inside.
We got 8" of rain the last couple weeks, enough that water was flowing down my hillside so I dug a diversion furrow around my GH. Under a rock I turned up this guy - aligator lizard:

First flowers for the year, this guy always marks the start of a new season, being early rather than late:
While this guy is 'late' and still going:
I don't know if mammillaria prolifera is supposed to be flowering now, my others aren't:
Trichodemia bulbosum flowers year round, but also looks scraggly year-round:
And this jade plant has been going for a while. Note that the oxalis was growing on my hillside before my GH went in...
My grandparents had this clone before I was born, but it never flowered for them in MN.

Last weekend I had a spare hour to spend potting up and this pot of Ferocactus gracilis coloratus was on deck. The guy 4th from the left is variegated!
I think those are 1 year old, from last year's mesagarden order. I sowed 50 seed and potted up 49 seedlings. Ferocactus gracilis is a champ!
When I looked into this pot of ornithogalum sardienii at first I thought there were only two left! Closer inspection revealed 8 more. Cryptic little guys.
The earliest wildflower of the season was also kicking into gear last weekend, dodecatheon hendersonii:
They aren't very succulent, but they grow in a succulent like habitat - narrow bands on north facing slopes where larger plants can't grow. They only grow from Oct-March, the rest of the year that pot sits in the shade behind my house next to the air conditioner. I often find them near Dudleya cymosa, Dudleya lanceolata and Sedum spathulafolium.

LT: could you post a photo of it with something for scale? I'm under the impression the bulbs only get to about 1cm or so.

Yes, small, I will take a pic today with something next to it for scale.

Awesome, thanks! Hopefully I can get mine to that point.
Here's what they looked like at a month and a half old:
Like tiny fish eggs with green tentacles...
