I tried Eriosyce caligophila , E. Islayensis (divaricatiflora), E. spec. llanos de Challe, Strombocactus disciformis v. jarmilae, and some other I don´t remember at the moment. Some failed to attach on the stock, some loosened again when pullling of the little plastic container after 2 weeks.
I´ll take some closer photos soon.

Looks good and will be interesting to follow the development of them. That Strombo is very tiny How did you manage to graft that one?

(just cut it and put it on the fresh-cut Periskopiopsis stock)

Nice work Jens, I have tried many tiny strombocactus and aztekiums so far with no luck yet.
They always just dry up.

I guess it was just beginnners luck

Yes, and if you make it right and keep everything clean it will work

As you were talking about the seedlings we got of the long spined Eriosyce occulta, I took a look at them in the GH too and I found them very similar looking to the E. paucicostatas .
Since it was insect pollinated seed that might be a hint for them being hybrids (and not so precious at all) . But we will wait for them to flower. So maybe one (or both) of us should try a grafting. What do you think?

That's interesting Well, to increase the likelihood that any of us succeed, maybe we both should make a graft? I have 4 small plants, but they are to big to graft on pereskiopsis But I can graft one or two on myrillocactus with the super-glue method

Well, I made a graft on Myrtillocactus this morning

Since I only have Selenicereus and Pereskiopsis I will use one of these.
I had to spend some time repotting the last days because a friend send some Eriosyce seedlings. and I got some Gymnocalycium from Graham Charles also.

That will work as well. We will make some "show and tell" later

Grafted 11 "old-ish" scions on Harrisia pomanensis with the super-glue method, and de-grafted 4 grafts today. I hope all will do what I want
