They are known as Patty Pan, white, and other names for this squash. They are somewhat common. I grow three types, Crooked Neck, Zucchini, and Patty Pan. This year the zucchini are the best producers.

I have trouble growing money on trees.

Raised on the farm, ex FFA student, and love vegies that have taste, not like what you buy in the store. I'm getting ready for fall planting, garlic, onions, carrots and broccoli.

lol well I could grow some money trees, or some trees that make money, but.. I like cactus much better ;) and yeah. Local veggies are better than store bought crap from who knows where.

Nice squash. I like them, but my favorite are the Acorn squash.

For me fall means Potatoes! More than we can even give away. We leave more potatoes behind in just one field than everyone on the forum here would eat in a lifetime. Always blows my mind!

Here is what I kept. Went with two other guys who likewise got more than they can eat!

Davi, that picture adds a meaning to hash browns. This week were in the 70's. So maybe fall is coming. The coming week mid 80's. This weekend pick most of the peppers, more squash and planted fall crops. Yellow and red onion, garlic, broccoli, carrots, radishes and lettuce.

Ha! I have made hash-browns, but what I make most of is fresh cut french fries. Everybody loves them around here.

I am sure they are good :) I have made them before when we went camping. It was a pain tho cause we didn't have the cutter, so we used a knife..
