Good looking O. macrocentra Chris. I managed to keep one alive for 2 winters then it bit the dust.

Didn't you just plant this one last year? I can't believe you can get buds so quickly on a fragilis!!

John, I'm just thinking about how your post is an excellent example of the variation in local conditions.

I think temperature wise, you are not that far off from Andy in CT or Bill in KS, but with the drier climate, you can grow a lot of stuff that would just turn to mush in the east.

O. Fragilis v Columbiana, this one was planted last year and did nothing. I'm happy to see he wants to grow this year :D
