If it sells, I'm in business! I've never heard of a sequoia cactus, but why let that get between me and someone else's hard-earned dough!

Those things are all over the place near me!

Almost - Sequoia is the largest cactus in the world. The tallest is the Redwood Cactus. But there is a Mountain Cactus in Austrailia that might be as big as tall as the Redwood Cactus.

$80 is completely absurd for that piece!

Yes, the Mountain Ash cactus... Eucalyptus-cereus regnans-opsis it grows in the rainforest desert of Tasmania (also found in Victoria), and grows to over 100 metres tall... I might go looking for some of the rare bit to sell on eBay too.

I saw that one the other day. I imagine he can't actually be expecting to get that much for it. He has to be waiting for people to message with offers... Right????

It's hard to tell if a seller is serious sometimes. The shipping cost alone would be cost prohibitve for me. And then you have to wait for an eternity.
$39 for Registered Airmail Services...
The payment is due within 2 days...
I will send you this item about 10-14 days after I receive your payment...
You will receive the shipment next 10-20 days.

He is in Thailand, $40 is what you expect to pay when mailing a box from there.

1k for a large crested Ario is not all that crazy. If you look at his feedback page there are $400-500 buys listed there. Some Havortias, I have no clue what is hot there, but they are about 10 times faster then any Ario.
