Succulent of the month

I'm sure everyone will be waiting patiently for your debut once things get settled down for you.
Be careful on your drive and I hope you find a nice place with a big yard for your cacti and succulents.

Thanks Bill got back late last night and got news today that I got the house I wanted with a large back yard and a nice garage/shed that I will be able to put the heat mat in over winter and also all the dormant plants.

The shift is in 3 weeks now.......so with work and packing it will be pushing things a bit but I will not work the last week so I can be well prepared when the removalists get here

I am still around but only just I have been popping in now and then

The moving was harder than I had anticipated and now with a new life I don't have as much time for the internet as I had hoped

I am working on putting in a succulent of the month for January. All my cacti/succulents are now unpacked and potted up. It was a chore but great to finally have it done and should now have a little time for other things

The photo for the plant of the month has 3 different species in it. So I thought I would show a selection of species to help folks be able to tell the species apart.
Here's the true Faucaria tigrina. White spots and many fine teeth.

This is Faucaria felina, bigger reddish pink teeth, less spots and no warts

there are many degrees of wartyness, and teeth.
This one is pretty standard.

Hi everybody

I just joined today. I learned to use the computer by my self so I am not very good at it. I hope I will be able to use this forum to chat and learn. I collect cuctus and other succulents. I have been doing so for some years and I have quite a few plants. I live in Cyprus, where the difficulty is to protect the plants from too much sun and not the cold!! In summer, the temperatures rise too high, up to 45C. Last summer I lost some Echeverias. They were literally cooked!!

This is my first time in this forum (or any forum). How do I view the succulent and cactus of the month? I would love to see them.
