Parodia graessneri [green]

As we don't have a really long enough summer here, more clouds than sunshine.
It took a while but my Parodia graessneri [green] finally popped.
Yes I know it's Oct 12th but the cactus doesn't know that.

Nice! Beter late than never, I bought one (I thought)from homedepo years ago... when it finaly bloomed, the flowers were RED! :x

Yep, I really like the green-flowered form of this plant too. It almost looks like a digital color trick!
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti

Absolutely one of my favorites. Mine blooms in EARLY spring. Tony, I guess you plant was N haselbergi, very similar in appearance, but with red flowers.

Nice show!

Mine also has the green flowers, but it did not have that many this year...but it did leave some red fruits behind 8)

My buds are green, and the flowers are green but they change to yellow as they age!!
This is mine in flower now...

The super green flowers, like sour apple candies (or, I guess, like green apples only darker) are great on some forms of this one.

Wow! Very cool looking flowers. I call mine Brasilocactus, which is maybe why it never bloomed. Perhaps if I whisper Parodia, it will respond.
