Well I stole out after work and got the door put on. Now I just have to put some weather strips or the like to seal the places where the side panels and doors rest against the frame. And then it will be time to move the plants in. But that will likely be the weekend after this one as we're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow by Saturday morning. ](*,)

Ian, now we'll know first hand if the roof can handle the snow - fingers crossed! :confused2:

Here it is with the door. Now I know it doesn't look straight, but I can't really get it straight until I move it to a level patch of ground and then I'll adjust everything with a level to compensate. Right now, it is on a slope and bumpy ground.

I hope it is still standing with all the snow we got!

It is good news...it held up very well.

Here are four shots of it in a very heavy wet snow. We got at least 14 inches of it. If it stood up to this snow storm, then it can take about anything...

Good eye! There are gaps above the door and around the side panels. That is the last thing I need to do before the plants. I have a good strong spring on the door and of course a latch on the other side. So I am going to apply some thick/soft weather stripping to the frame and that should do the trick.

If the snow fell straight down, there wouldn't have been much in there. Notice the pile of snow at the bottom of the door in the second picture. That is because a strong westward wind was plastering the east side of everything. See the Oak to the left in the background. The pile is snow that had stuck to the side and fell off and that is why some of it made its way into the greenhouse.

Plants will go in next week perhaps. It isn't going to stay where it is, but I've got to move it to a nice level spot and was going to position it with the door facing north.

The roof construction looks great, no wonder it stood up just fine.
