To post a LARGE image:
To make an image part of your post follow these steps:
1. Your picture can be any size as the forum will automatically re-size it to fit the forum and make a link to the full-sized image. (Note: lareger files take longer to load, so don't put too many large images in a post.)
2. Save your image to a website that you have access to or a free picture hosting site such as photobucket.com
3. Copy the link or URL of the image and paste the URL in the post you are writing.
NOTE: You must copy the URL that goes to the image and not to a web page. images end in .jpg, .gif, .bmp, etc. If your URL ends in .htm, .asp, or other letters, then it is a web page and not an image.
4. Then highlight the URL of the image and click the [Img] button above.
Another NOTE: The site you choose to host your images on, must allow this sort of linking. (It is often called "hot-linking") Yahoo, for example blocks this sort of link.
Still another NOTE: Be sure that you do not have the "Disable BBCode in this post" option checked. The BBCode is what enables the picture to display. This feature will display links and code as plain text.
That's it. If you want to link to the image or a web page, do the same thing, but click on the [URL] button.
