Hello Christer,
I also find your images tranquil and beautiful. Here we only have a few trees in the mountain ranges that will show fall coloring. A few days ago I read in the newspaper, that the beautiful fall leaf colors found in one of the northeast states - I believe it was Vermont - are not as intense as people remembered them from the past. The explanation for this phenomenon was, that the fall is not as pronounced nowadays, because of this subject is not allowed. This does not cause the chlorophyll to decompose and reveal the other pigments present in the leaves. Instead, the leaves just turn brown and fall off, just like in my place.

Hi- Christer, great photos. I like the floating leaf the best. Fall in Arizona: flowering Ferocacti!

Possible that warmer winters are responsible. I heard that less precipitation was the cause here. Neither hypothesis can be tested very easily since the cycle takes a full year.

Very nice photowork Christer! I see you even got a little frost already.

Hmmm, fall colors are pretty good here. They exploded in the last week and look normal. I've seen worse in the past

Great pics, very intense colors. Thanks for sharing, we don't get much of this in the Southwest USA ;)
