Lithops karasmontana var. lateritia from seed supplied by Aiko , very red except one imposter. Turbinicarpus pseudopectinatus tiring for seeds. for some reason I find these hard to grow for any length of time without werid problems like rust on the stem.

2023 seedling progress they were sown in March. In a mix of Small Pumice , desert wash sand, desert top soil and diatomaceous earth.

Some pediocactus seedlings they were quick to germinate which surprised me. They don't always flower this nice for some reason but they flower very early.

Yes and they came right up I was surprised. The strombocactus also came right up but didn't last more than a couple days . Remind me of some Conophytums which usually last a few weeks before disintegration. Dinteranthus vanzylii is the next tiny seed I'm going to try but it has to get hotter around here before I bother.

They get a little red after awhile . Some species do at least.

Ariocarpus are easy to germinate after that you need maximum patience. I guess if you're in a hot area they grow faster I'm not anymore but when I was they grew like grass seeds. 100% germination while many other species turned white and died at 115F in the shade.
