The ICE International 78 from Utrecht (Amsterdam) drives via Düsseldorf into Cologne - on the right bank of the Rhine.
Near my greenhouses, the ICE International 79 runs from Brussels via Liège and Aachen.

Mike, the tables are just over 2 feet (70cm) deep - but 4 feet high!

Maja, maybe next year in Blankenberge. . . who now´s. . .

Not sure at all, of course. But the train called at the Köln Hbf trainstation, so I could have. But I haven't, now that I have checked it.

Maybe in the not far future when / if the Covid-19 issues mostly passed I could come by for a greenhouse visit, and will take the Maastricht / Luik (Liège) / Aachen route this time just for the fun of it!

yeah right.
I was in Tucson in 2015 and 2016, James Pickering invited me.
It was two wonderful visits to Arizona. I will be eternally grateful to James, he was the best host !!!
In 2018 I had already booked flights and a hotel, but then got another retinal detachment in March.
After the operation the eye was filled with gas and flying was impossible.
(I was also a little afraid of the situation in the country, Germany and Germans where insulted a lot.)
I really hope to be back in Arizona in 2021.

Well if you make it 2 arizona in 2021 I'm 5 hours away.
My father was born in Berlin. 4 family members survived the holocaust by escaping to Shanghai. I did not notice any negativity towards Germans in 2018 myself here. Most of the crap is political hyperbola.
