Succulents ID set 2
Hello all. I believe these are all Haworthia but if anyone can confirm and maybe suggest species, that would be great. All are in 7.5 cm pots. Thanks for any help.
Also, the sixth plant has greenish leaves in the center but the outer ones are brown so is it sick or just a strange colour?

Re: Succulents ID set 2
11 is haworthia limifolia, 8 is haworthia fasciata, and 12 might be a one of the subspecies of Haworth cooperi, maybe truncata
There is no cactus you can't eat, but you just might regret it if you eat the wrong one.

First looks like coarcta or reinwardtii (or are these the same species?)

I'd say #12 is not sick, but would probably look better grown in a bit more shaded position.

I'm no expert, but #9 looks like Haworthia fasciata fa. browniana. I agree with the others and personally think the last one is perfectly fine (I think it's H. cooperi var. pilifera)

Re: Succulents ID set 2
Thanks for the help guys. I've done a bit of reading about those IDs and come up with a few questions.
#7 coarctata or reinwardtii --- I've found that they are distinguished by leaf shape so which do you think I have?
#8 & #9 fasciata or attenuata --- Apparently attenuata is more common and fasciata is supposed to be smooth on the inner side of the leaf so I believe I have attenuata. Any comments?
#10 --- Still no ideas?
#11 limifolia --- Looks about right. Just wondering if my plant should be a little darker.
#12 cooperi var. pilifera --- The leaf shape for var. truncata looks more rounded and closely clumped so I believe I have var. pilifera
Also here's another pic of #7. I have 3 of them that came together.

Re: Succulents ID set 2
On the question "coarctata or reinwardtii", I'd say reinwardtii. Tough to be sure, though, since coarctata is quite variable.
#10 has me stumped.

Re: Succulents ID set 2
There is a Haworthia reticulata var. (fa.?) hurlingii that may fit the bill for #10, but I believe there are far more Haworthia names than varieties floating around. As for H. reinwardtii vs. H. coarctata, I tend to call H. coarctata to the plants that have the dots longitudinally arranged and stubbier leaves, but that's more out of laziness than knowledge.

Re: Succulents ID set 2
Thanks guys. I guess I'll just settle for genus name for #7. Since #10 is being so difficult, I'll just put it aside until a later date. Maybe if it flowers that might help with ID. But for now I will just call it Haworthia.
Re: Succulents ID set 2
#10 may be Haworthia turgida var sub erecta.

not being expert, you'll have to take this with a grain of salt. but i have a 16" bowl that has nothing but Haworthia in it. So ...
based on it's appearance being SO close to one that I have, I will call "7 (2)" and "# 7" ... H. baccata
"11" and "11 (2)" is a H. limifolia, although MINE is considerably darker.
and THAT is as much as I am willing to commit to ...
