I have this Euphorbia, possibly and hybrid between E. aggregata and something.
It is in bloom and I would like to pollinate it. But I cant see the female flowers (or female parts of the flowers). Would this plant be a male plant?
Thanks!

Re: Euphorbia pollination ?
They just look to be male flowers. I think some Euphorbias can have both separate male and female flowers on the same plant, I don't know how common this is with succulent species.

thanks esp thats what I think too, I have only male flowers. Some Euphorbia species have individuals that are only male or only female, and probably that's the case.

Re: Euphorbia pollination ?
I don't know about Euphobias, but many plants with separate male and female flowers will produce male flowers only at the start of their bloom cycle, then later produce both. This is true of species as diverse as squash and Begonias.

I know that in some species like E. obesa, male and female flowers occur in separate individuals (dioiceous species). But other Euphorbia species are monoiceous (both sexes in the same plant).

Re: Euphorbia pollination ?
I would presume you have a male plant. Looking at the flowers I can only see stamen with the pollen producing anthers no stigma which would be present in gynoecious/dioecious plants.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
