Dan, I tried several times to pollinate 'Rainbow' flower with pollen from a 'Violet' - unfortunately, no effects but on the contrary - succeeded.

I have the same plant. But over this side of the Channel we call it Chamalobivia Ragged Robin. Had it for years.
Hmm, this hybrid produce 2 type of flower so I'm not sure, is this the same clone (I can't find any pictures of this hybrid on Google, a little strange  ) :

Artur - Great blossoms & photography! As I've explained to many "Members", just getting caught up with CF d/t long racetrack season that just ended 2 wks ago! I see many cold-hardy Echinocereus species (most of the ones you posted) & was wondering if you got any of them out into the ground this past year or plan to this coming 2014? I've gotten pretty focused with seed germination of anything theoretically growable in Z6b or colder (since house is literally packed with non-Z6 C & S), so was wondering how that was going :-k
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!
