Nice Agaves! I like the "teeth" on them!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

Nice! As long as they don't get "toothaches"!

Re: A few agaves
Agave guiengola. So beautiful, yet so fragile. I just cant keep the leaves from breaking.
The classic plain, non suckering one - and by far my favorite
Creme brulee
Medio picta, the smallest and slowest one

Re: A few agaves
you have some nice Agaves Mughal. I don't have that many, but Ron (German Star) has given me a few. They are doing well this year.
The teeth are beautiful as are the margin spines. (the spines at the tips). Nice plants, good growing

Re: A few agaves
Very nice! In regard to the OP:
A. titanota = A. FO-076 (real A. titanota is blue)
A. potatorum 'Kichijokan' = A. isthmensis 'Kichijokan' (real A. potatorum is a larger, solitary plant)
A. patonii = A. applanata
Also, the true id of 'Confederate Rose" is unknown, but it is not A. potatorum. Probably best to just call it A. 'Confederate Rose'.

Agave
"American aloe plant," 1797, from Greek Agaue, proper name in mythology (mother of Pentheus), from agauos "noble," perhaps from agasthai "wonder at".

Re: A few agaves
Thanks for the very useful information Ron. I'm actually looking for a real Agave titanota.
Agave potatorum "confederate rose" was actually identified as Agave guadalajarana cv. minor by a friend of mine. A bit confusing.
Yes, A.patonii = A. applanta
Thanks Peter. Hope they go good through the winters

Re: A few agaves
A. 'Confederate Rose' is definitely not A. guadalajarana, another much larger, solitary Agave.

Mughal, they should be fine
And as for anything to do with Agaves Ron is almost always right, I'm just a novice
