Mammillaria sheldonii
Mammillaria sheldonii flowering for me for the first time ever. Well worth waiting for!

Nice! Very similar to the grahamii flowers, but with a softer transition from white to pink.

nice flower!
With apologies to the late Professor C. D. Darlington the following misquotation springs to

Looks nice! I like how the flower is on a small stem!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.
Re: Mammillaria sheldonii
Beautiful! I forget now if sheldonii is "accepted" anymore or thought to be just a synonym with grahamii.

Beautiful! I just love the way you get the two colours blending so delicately.

Anderson maintained it as a species, but the NCL placed it as a ssp to grahamii

How delicate and beautiful!
Re: Mammillaria sheldonii
Thanks all. I love this cactus, one of my rarest and has only ever flowered this once.
