Thank you for the positive response.
I like these little opuntoids because of their unusual flowers

My punas have not bloomed for me. Now I can't wait!
It’s not the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.

Cool! Nice flowering "lump" you have there!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

That E. esmeraldana is something special.

Re: J-Cacti 2012
Thanks people!
yes this clumping type of E. esmeraldana does have an unusual flower and it seems to be reproducble in other plants of this proveniance too.
My other flowering esmeraldana looks quite different from that one. (pics from last year) Today there were some Gymncalycium who finally made it to flowering And also captured a couple of Lobivia

Beautiful pictures and flowers as always, Jens!
The several cuttings, doing very well and show some new growth, which you sent me last year. Thanks again!

Wow!! What amazing flowers!!
We sailed through endless skies
Stars shine like eyes
The black night sighs
The moon in silver trees
Falls down in tears
Light of the night
The earth, a purple blaze
Of sapphire haze in orbital ways...

Re: J-Cacti 2012
Jens, I never tire looking at the wide array of types you have and am so impressed that you have the knack (and knowledge) for making them all bloom.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!
Re: J-Cacti 2012
you would hardly expect those esmeraldanas to be the same species
that nigristomata looks breathtaking!

Thanks for the comments, people!
Hi Ralf it´s nice to hear that the Pterocactus cuttings are growing well. Some kuntzei /tuberosus will start to flower quite early.
Here are some more flowers of the last days
