Thanks. And i must state that therre are probably around 43-45 buds who still need to go open.

Yep, a Lobivia pugionacantha v. versicolor. There is a second and a third flower.

very nice, the second also lobivia and the third a very nice weingartia, I know this batch ;) bercht right?

Right on - it's fun that after all these years, we still get to see people with first flowers!
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti

It came for me as a complete surprise. Wierd looking fury balls on my cacti. I inspected one closer and it turned out to be a bud. And i thought i would not get bud's or flowers this year.
