Bought this from a well respected plant nursery but he was missing a tag... we all know it's an aloe plant but what kind? 450 species later...

Could be, but it is pretty "leggy" for an A. arborences.
Here is mine for a comparison. Have you been growing this plant indoors, or in low light? It could be etoliated, and if so might be hard to ID.

just picked it up from the nursery 4 days ago. Not sure where it came from or the light conditions. I know I found it in a greenhouse though. Does have a blue-green tint to it but the leaves are really separated from one another unlike a lot of pictures i have seen.

I wonder if it is Aloe ferox... but if it is, it is etoliated.
