One of the large, mature Opuntia lindhimeri at my place has large 3" spines.
Do any of the other Opuntia species get bigger spines?
I'd like to know...

I have O. macrocentra that has pretty long spines. O. polycantha var erincea also has pretty dang long spines.
I will have to measure them.
O. engelmannii's can usually be around 3 inches too.

The longest I have seen were on an Opuntia quimilo in Darryls collection.
