J-Cacti 2012

Lovely!
It’s not the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.

Thanks Harriet and John!
On some species you can see the effect of the very sunny weather in the last 10 days now.

Wow, great pictures of beautiful plants. Especially the Echinocereus pictures are marvellous!
It seems that my teaching pays it out.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.

Thanks for the respose people.
And thanks to you Ralf for the great inspiration on photo techniques!
Here is another Echinocereus flower from today. -In fact this was hard to picture because of the growth pattern o the plant (the background became to small to cover all of the plant).

Re: J-Cacti 2012
No problem, Jens!
Wow, these flowers looks really interesting! Mine hasn't flowered yet.
Indeed it is somewhat tricky to get satisfactory pictures of those kind of plants.
That's my solution therefor.

Catching up and going back through your pages. The volume and the variety is stunning. I dont know how you keep so many different plants! Really outstanding Jens!
Re: J-Cacti 2012
Thank you very much.
And especially Ralf for the perfect Wilcoxia picture. But as they grow on it is becoming more and more difficult to picture the plant from tip to soil level.
