J-Cacti 2012
Re: J-Cacti 2012
Such beautiful plants, unusual selection, and admirable photography. I want to gain some of your skills.
Re: J-Cacti 2012
Thanks you guys , my main skill is not to push the plants growth too much - and rather wait another year for flowers .
The rest is done by the environment here which is sunny (at least in during summer ) and quite windy.

Re: J-Cacti 2012
Nice show! I like the first one's spines!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.
Re: J-Cacti 2012
Yes the redddish tone in the spine color is very unique even in young plants.

Thanks for the coments guys!
Darryl: yes I found the seeds still on the plants when I got them from a friend last year.
PeterB: I like the flowers with translucency or more then one color to them very much too.
But there are pretty North American Cacti too..as I realized again today

Thanks guys, ( btw the Ec pullchellus ssp. weinbergii is missing an n )
I have this Austrocactus plant for one year now and am quite happy growing it on.
I sowed some A. bertinii seed this winter - but none sprouted so far.
Here are two more pictures from the greeenhouse today
