dunno it looks sort of like a C. fulgida mammillata from the west coast.. it's interesting, in it's lack of spines. Maybe I didnt get a C. californica from someone.. lol

Frailea in bloom--how neat. Mine only makes buds that never open. And a blooming saguaro in your yard, I can only wish! Love the cylindropuntias, too.

Thanks for all the comments!
Flower Show keeps on coming!
A couple of Echinocereus stramineus decided to flower at the same time. Hard to get a good photo because it is in filtered shade, but my first Gymnocalycium ragonesii blooms can't hide from me completely! My reliable Leuchtenbergia princeps started flowering this week too - it usually flowers almost continuously through the summer into fall. Another old-reliable, my Mammillaria longimamma is starting up too. And, finally - my old Cereus peruvianus var monstrose 'Labelle' started flowering this week - with many more weeks to come! More headed my way next week too!

Nice show! Long-blooming and reliable cacti are always great!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

That looks really great!
Especially the Echinocereus stramineus is marvellous. That will be a huge clump in a couple years.

Re: Minime8484's C&S Collection - 2012
Been out of town for work, so not sure all I've missed (at least one that I know of!), but here are a couple of bloomers that waited for me.
Mammillaria longimamma continues to go crazy - making up for a pitiful year last year with tons of flowers. And the first inflorescence of 2012 on one of my Fouquieria burragei started opening its flowers this week too; pretty high up, so not the greatest photo op. Looking for lots more in 2012!

Very excited that my first ever blooms from my Grusonia (Corynopuntia) moelleri opened today. As you can see, many more to come!
Hopefully, this is just the start of the Grusonia parade for this year!

I missed the first 3 flowers on this Echinocereus (luteus) subinermis when I was out of town recently, but at least it saved one for when I was home!

that's another one I can't wait til it blooms. My lone Grusonia hasn't grown much, I am hoping it was going to explode this year, maybe next year.
