Great collection, Jens. I especially love the Wilcoxia and the unique flowers of the L. famatimensis.

Nice flowers! The first one has a very unusual color. Is this because of the lighting?

Yes the lighting is a little dim, but in fact it is a brownish tone of yellow flower as in many species of Pterocactus.
Like in this undiscribed Form from Fiambala , Argentina.

So beautiful, Jens!
Anyhow I prefer the white backgrounded pictures. They look more friendly. :D

Hello Jens,
you are showing yet another pretty and perhaps pretty rare Echinocereus member. I love that Echinocereus nivosus, General Cepeda plant, with its lovely white spines and beautiful flower. :)

Thanks Harald and Arjen.
Ralf, you are right the lighter background has a more cheerful appearance. But still sometimes the black background is in some cases bringing out colors and contrasts out better.
