Majcka 2012
Majcka 2012
I know that is no cacti. But I just have to put this on. I searched for those two since last year. Now finaly I get them:
Nice red flowering Adenium And young Brighamia: And that was something I get along with them: Nice Glandulicactus with fruit.
P.S.
Ian! Your Glandulicactus is now save. I have my own.

Re: Majcka 2012
they sure look cool. Reminds me of my Ferocactus hematacanthus which also has long hooked spines that are best left away from your skin.iann wrote:Watch out for those hooks. They go through skin and don't let go!
Majcka nice plants
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.
Re: Majcka 2012
Oh. I know. First thing that I had experienced on that one. Two of them hugged me around my finger. The nurseryman was saving me with tweezers.iann wrote:Watch out for those hooks. They go through skin and don't let go!
Re: Majcka 2012
Is my conclusion that this is Glandulicactus uncinatus correct?

Adeniums are beautiful, and as far as I am concerned, you can post pictures of them whenever you want!

Finally, I planted a few rocks in my rock garden.
A sempervivum two sempervivum A big sempervivum: a cacti with new spines: second cacti with new spines: opuntia witn no name yet: And some more stuf. One of the stuf would be a little pond. That remind to be fixed.

Nice looking rock garden (with real rocks!)! Also, nice looking plants.
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.
Re: Majcka 2012
Handsome plants you have there, Majcka.
Re: Majcka 2012
Thanks for the lovely comment. But would you be so kind to tell me how would be the rock garden with unreal rocks? I think I don't quite understand that.gemhunter178 wrote:Nice looking rock garden (with real rocks!)! Also, nice looking plants.
Re: Majcka 2012
It is sad, but true, you can buy fake rocks made of fiberglass or other lightweight material. Some are designed to hide outdoor speakers for a sound system, others to hide an extra house key under, but some are just fake rocks. I would much rather have the real ones. And I particularly like the real ones in your garden!
