May 2012-Color Red
Highlight some red feature on your cactus or succulent plant.
Note: Since red is the most difficult color to process on most camera computers, all the shades of red from orange-red to pinkish -red will count as valid entries for this contest.

Remember, along with each contest is a seperate thread for discussion and posting all your "other" pics, Click here


Prize:
To the winner goes, A $10 gift certificate towards any CoronaCactus.com purchase. (Plants, tools, Pots, labels, etc.)
NOTE: For members outside of the USA non-plant prizes can only be awarded.

Deadline:
for submissions will be May15 th at 12 o´clock midnight Central Standard Time

Eriosyce taltalensis var. paucicostata
A cactus of myself whith a little red stinger which is exactly the same colour in real life.

Well since I only just moved my plants out for the season, I had to pull an image from last fall. Here is Matucana krahnii which I'm quite sure I got from GeneS at one of the OCCSS meetings.

It made the transition to MN growing without any trouble!
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
