Resurrecting an old thread...
RARE PENIOCEREUS GREGGII REAL QUEEN OF THE NIGHT ARIZONA MEXICO SUCCULANT CACTUS
$23.50. Seriously? A cactus that size should go for less than 10 bucks most places.

Hey, keep those prices up! I've got a dozen or more almost that size that I grew from seed. May have got the seed from you come to think of it. Anyway, I can now boast about my new-found assets! Woo hoo - I'm rich, I'm rich, I'm rich!

The same person is also selling 50 Melocactus seeds for $10 Should someone tell them it's not the 1800's anymore?
Re: more eBay wackiness
Well, hard to believe, but somebody bought it. I guess when you gotta have it, you gotta have it.

Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.
Re: more eBay wackiness
Good question about the syringes. Diabetic cat? The willys are from a different seller...in Thailand. They are rare in the U.S. if you think about it. How many nurseries have you gone to where they stock LWs?Peterthecactusguy wrote:The L. willies that are listed as rare, and the 10 pack of syringes.. WHAT is that guy into? LoL

Re: more eBay wackiness
My take on eBay buys is there some "karmic" relationship with buyer I used it a lot for many years (much less in last 4-5yrs), mostly Tibetan Buddhist artifacts or gems & crystals & I got nothing but the best service, products, & sellers! Reminds me very much of people on CF Would always give personal feedback, usually ask a question or 2 before bid. Frequently developed a realationship with several buys over time. Never burned! Only rarely slightly less than totally satisfied! Hear the eBay world has changed, but memories still very positive!

Yeaah, i've bought a lot of cacti off ebay and if you know what you're looking for and have an eye for quality, then you can get some really nice plants at good prices!
