My Escobarias are as fat as they ever get but no sign of flowers yet. No flower from E. ctenoides either, but I'm really looking forward to it one day.

Lotsa nice plants PeterB. Love those E. sneedii's wonderful flowers. The close up was brilliant I think I need some of those :)

I think that aptly describes most of the Echinocereus I see on a daily basis :).
Nice photos as usual. That O. basilaris flower is awesome.

2nd Tumamoc's praise of basilaris! Which reminds me -- What's the diff between basilaris & microdaysis v. rufida? :-k I inherited one or the other -- hoping basilaris -- more cold-hardy & love blossom :D
