Cynanchum marnierianum 'Twiggy'
Cynanchum marnierianum 'Twiggy'
. . . potted up these three Cynanchum marnierianum 'Twiggy' cuttings today. It's a new one for me (from Madagascar) . . . hoping at least one these cuttings root. Cereusly, Tony

From what I have seen in photos you are going to have to look very closely to be able to tell if they are living and growing until they flower. Nice plants.

You're right!

I got a few cuttings of this that never rooted over the summer and dried up this winter. I always wondered which side was up.
Thirsty for knowledge. Please water me more than your cactus!

Story of my life!
Re: Cynanchum marnierianum 'Twiggy'
IME they are really easy to root. When pieces break off I just stick them back in the dirt and forget about them. They seem to root from the joints and will put out little root nubs on older sections. Mine grows like crazy all summer and then thrives on neglect indoors over the winter
My dead sticks are looking a little green right now but once they they go outside and get strong light it will turn brown and purple
