Hi from the Netherlands

Post by greenrobin »

Hello everybody,

I am a new member of this forum from the Netherlands. Yesterday I abruptly started with a question in the cactus ID-section and received some instantanious answers. Quite impressive! Out of courtesy I shall introduce myself here.

I always promised myself that after retirement I was going to revive my cactus-hobby and that is exactly what I am doing right now. My favourites are the Chamaecereus hybrids (x Chamaelobivia), but I also have Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Mammillarias and some Lobivias. I keep them in the attic under two large (slanting) south facing windows. It is warm there in summer and cool in winter, so growing conditions are o.k.

I hope to return here regularly!
