Minime8484's C&S Collection - 2012

Post by Minime8484 »

I thought I would start a thread with my collection in it - it seems like fun! :D

First to bloom for me this year is my first ever bloom of Mammillaria hernandezii. Really love this plant, and seems to do really well in-ground - despite having been stepped on by the crew removing a fallen Eucalyptus from my yard last fall!

I hope you all enjoy some of the pics I hope to post!

Cheers,
Tristan

Wow! Nice looking Mammillaria!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

All M. hernandezii are beautiful but yours has particularly attractive and well-delineated spines. Kudos!

The flower on my Mammillaria hernandezii is still going strong, and also opened another flower to add to the display today.

Another new bloomer for me today - Mammillaria bombycina. I know it is pretty common, but I finally broke down and got one this year, as the spination is really nice. Glad I did!
