Every day, after supper, Granny walks two miles. We haven't seen her in years.

Hey everyone - the spammers were having a field day with the changed settings of the new forum. I switched new registration to require manual activation for now and deleted all the spam users and their messages!

Now let's see if I can get those pictures working!

Think you might have a Spammer under Cactus ID, following "A Wedding Gift" (Not the poster of orig. ID quest.)
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

Now that the forum software is updated, you can click the ! button in the upper right of a post to report it to the moderators. It's easier for everyone than using a thread like this!

I removed one just about an hour ago. The post even included pics!
I don't know how to go in and remove the pics from the server. They were advertising fake passports...

I believe there is a setting that enables pruning of images that are not used in posts. Will eventually figure that out too.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum and have been working on cacti and succulents for many years now. I started a small website to show off my work and was hoping you would have suggestions on where I can post the site??? I'm not sure if it's appropriate to put the link here and I don't want to be considered spam or anything, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for asking first. Members who contribute here are welcome to plug other websites, events, etc. as much as they like. However, this site is NOT a place to post a link or make a pitch and then not participate in any other way.

So if you want to be part of the group, we welcome you and your website too. On the other hand if this is the last we hear of you, I periodically remove links from signatures or remove profiles entirely.
