Thanks, Harry I'm currently storing them in the house with good southern light exposure, with day time temps around 70F with nightly lows around 58-60 F no water except a little once a month for my Notocactus/Parodia.HarryUpNorth wrote:Hi billdee, great pics and looking forward to seeing more.
Where do your grow your ever expanding collection? In your house, greenhouse ?
My own small collection is going to be growing at an alarming rate as well I'm afraid and just wondering where you will be growing yours.
Harry
As for summer I just keep em on my patio with shade cloths in place for the one's that don't like the full sun.
Edit:Spelling
A. retusus v retusus
A. retusus v furfuraceus
A. fissuratus v agavoides
A.fissuratus v bravoanus
A. fissuratus v fissuratus

I had this plant posted in the general topics too, so to reiterate. I started collecting Cacti towards the end of July, and most of the plants I bought had all ready flowered.
Darryl at Corona Cactus sent me this Echinocereus davisii on the 25th and the next day one of the buds bloomed. It my seem like no big deal, but keep in mind I'm a neophyte when it comes too Cacti, so I was very excited to say the least My very fist cactus bloom
potted on the 25th
started opening on the 26th
Finally fully opened

Well you've made a good start with some nice-looking plants. Funny how those cacti multiply isn't it? 58 one week, then 97? How does that happen?
In my case I blame it on the internet.
that's what got me going.

Welcome to the "cant sleep... must post images of collection" stage of the adddiction.
It apparently lasts for up to... 6 years?
Great looking plants you have Bill!
I wonder if that last one for ID is a young Stenocactus vaupelianus?
Does it appear to have any waves starting at the top?
