Grafting mystery seedling on Echinopsis pachanoi indoors
i want to graft one of my seedlings onto either my Opuntia humifusa or my Echinopsis pachanoi. the only problem is i do not have a greenhouse all i have is a bright window for light.how well would it work if i grafted inside with superglue(i cant do the rubber band thing)i am planning to do this in the spring.

It actually tends to work out pretty well if they are grafted and placed in a windowsill. As long as the grafted plant has a tight connection to the base plant without any airbubbles there shouldn't be a problem

im not planning on it now lol. i could just take my opuntia when its actively growing outside and bring it in when i want to graft that way i have a higher grafting success rate(i dont think my pachioni grows so fast indoorsJohnwinner555 wrote:The cold tolerance generally does transfer from stock to scion in a sense, buy I wouldn't risk letting a grafted plant take a hit from frost
