Making Cuttings

Post by ata1515 »

One of my cacti has started to bud, and I was wondering if I would be able to take cuttings off of it. If I did, is there a simply way to get the cuttings ready to root or what would have to be done for them? Thanks!

cut/break off->leave on tabel out of direct sun for cut area to dry/heal for a week -> place into pot and dont water until roots form.

more or less thats the general procedure with few variations for easier species :)
