Cactus in Ohio
Hi everyone, I'm new here and want to show off some of my cactus. I'm in the process of re-potting everyone after learning more about cactus soil from everyone on the forum. I am also in the process of making computer records of all my plants so I can keep track of them better.
If I call a cactus by the wrong name, please correct me - I love learning more about my plants and it will help me care for them better.
Euphorbia splendens in flower this June - purchased 2008
Opuntia ?? in my new rock garden - purchased 2008
Unknown but about to bloom! - purchased 2001
More to come tomorrow - Opuntia, agaves and a few other succulents!

Awesome, its never bloomed for me before, I cant wait to give it a sniff! I'll look online about how to self pollinate it, I would love to collect some seeds.Lazz wrote:Hi

I'm going to take some more pics this afternoon, its just been so hot and humid I don't want to stand outside with my collection!

I just looked up 'Pepe' and they look really similar - a mystery solved.Tony wrote:Nice variety, that Agave potatorum 'kichjokan' is a beaut!:)
I think that your Haworthia ssp. might actually be Aloe hybrid 'Pepe'
I saw the Agave on Ebay and just had to have it, it and the other are my first agaves so I'm praying not to kill them.
