Echinocereus i know because it came from a pack of Echinocereus mixed seeds Laughing

the nearest i can find is Echinocereus berlandieri ..........am i anywhere near dontknow

Wow that is nice. It's formed a nice clump. And the flower is of course nice as well. I love Echinocereus flowers. Smile

I have an identical plant labeled scheeri var. obscuriensis, but haven't been able to find much info on that variety.

Looks right to me Hob. Though I've always been unsure of the difference between pentalophus and enneacanthus.

Definitely pentalophus, very pretty! Nice spines. Daiv, enneacanthus always has "magenta flowers with darker throats," quoting Anderson. Also, generally larger stems and more ribs.
