Overwatering or poor sunlight?

Post by basilbenz »

Hi guys,
I came from vacation and found my cactus to have yellow spots on it.I'm wondering if its a case of overwatering or poor sunlight? A few days back there was a yellow growth of fungi on the soil which i had removed.

Kindly let me know what you think about it, and how can i treat the plant.

Thanks for reply
The only thing is that i keep the plant indoor with little sunlight and usually have a fluorescent light available, however when i went for vacation i turned off the light,as such its hard to understand as to how the plant got burnt.

Any ideas as to what should i do for treatment?

If it isn't sunburn, I'd be quite worried. Maybe a pest like spider mites. It just doesn't look like something that is coming from inside, it's too localised and too much out on the ribs.
