I was at 'sixes and sevens' about which photo to post ...this would be my favourite Echinocereus flower, to bad it doesn't flower so well here. This is the only time (so far) that I've had a flower on this one.

Well, I've found distribution info hard to come by on subspecies and varieties. Fine-tunning that is an on-going project. Byron - rather than change the pic, how about change the name to L. williamsii?
